Here's a clever little (if I do say so myself) thing I wrote to improve detection of malware on Mac OS X.

After reading Sarah Edwards' excellent presentation on reverse-engineering Mac malware, I became aware of some very obvious shortcomings with XProtect. I created filecheckerd to address some (though not all) of these shortcomings.
